CHALLENGE

  • – Create a shading steel structure on an existing insulated concrete structure
  • – Fix the upper part on a parapet with triangular end plates
  • – Precisely install the wooden slats according to the architect’s drawing
  • – Provide the customer with a general arrangement drawing for the final agreement

 

SOLUTION

  • – Model the existing façade using separate layers for miscellaneous materials (concrete, insulating material, parapet top, etc.)
  • – Navigation tools in the 3D model that enable easy design
  • – Creation of the trapezoid shape of the slats and use of copying functions to distribute it as expected
  • – Automatic creation of 2D and 3D views of the general arrangement drawing
