The facade of the Spartak Stadium has an area of over 15.000 sq.m. and the height of the structure is 25 m. The frontal structure is made of 77 independent blocks.
The Supporting Systems company handled the design, production and installation of the stadium building’s facade structure.
The structural grid was designed so that each one of the decorative panels would overlap the one below, thus creating an interesting scale armor effect. This grid geometry has never been implemented before, having been developed specifically for the stadium building. It is the basis of the complex diamond facade, inspired by the Spartak logo. The diamonds are arranged along curved paths of different diameters, which created the necessity of using panels of different widths, seamlessly incorporated by the facade.
