Troubleshooting and Important Notes 

 

Common checks 

• The server machine is powered on. 
• The server instance shows Server Status = Running. 
• The instance shows License Status = Activated when activation should already be complete. 
• The client is connecting to the correct server address and port. 
• The selected server port is allowed by firewall rules. 

 

Important operational notes 

• One Activation ID creates one server instance. 
• The Cryptlex Server License Utility is installed once per machine, but it can manage multiple server instances. 
• Each instance runs as its own Windows service and uses its own port. 
• If a license is returned, the corresponding server instance is removed from the system.
