Activating a License Online
Before starting:
- Make sure you have the serial number and the activation code.
- Check the Internet connection.
If you do not have the serial number and the activation code you can request an evaluation license, or you can use Advance for 30 days.
Start the activation process and perform the following steps:
1. Launch the License Utility tool (C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Graitec)
2. In the first dialog box, select Activate a license.
3. Enter the Serial Number and the Activation Code. Select OK.
4. Your computer contacts the GRAITEC activation server and the license rights are written in the database. The activation server receives the information and processes it. After the activation code and the serial number are registered, the license rights, under the license agreement, are transferred from GRAITEC to the user.
5. All correct license activations will be announced with this message box:

- If the activation code and the serial number are not registered, the GRAITEC Activation Server informs you about the activation code mismatch. If you mistyped one of the codes, click Restart and try again.
- If you do not have a serial number and activation code (or if the existing ones are not recognized) a temporary license for 15 days can be installed. Click Install a temporary license for 15 days.
If the Activation Code does not match the Serial Number, check the code and make sure to replace en dashes (“–”), em dashes (“—“), or hyphens (“-“) with a minus sign (“−“) from the keyboard.
