Activating a License Offline
If the computer on which you want to activate the license is not connected to the Internet or you encountered problems during the online activation you can activate Advance using the offline e-mail-based procedure.
The necessary information for the software activation is written in a .xml file created based on the activation code and serial number and automatically sent to GRAITEC.
This file must be sent to license.activation@graitec.com.
Activating a License Offline
Suppose you don't have access to an internet connection or may not have it in the near future. For such cases, you can provide your users with an offline activation response file which can be used to activate the license offline. The offline activation process has the following three steps:
1. Generating Offline Activation Request File
- Launch the License Utility application (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Graitec).
- Select Offline Licensing.
- Under Step 1 in the Activation Wizard, enter the Serial Number and Activation Code.

- Press Generate to create a request file with the license codes for the Graitec License Server to verify. This generated request file in the permanently offline computer is transferred to a computer connected to the internet for Step 2.
2. Request Offline Activation Response File
Transfer your activation request file to a device with an internet connection and send the request to license.activation@graitec.com.
Within several minutes, you will automatically receive a response xml file from graitec.authorization@graitec.com, which will be further uploaded in Step 3.
Note: The messages are processed by a server machine, therefore any other messages are rejected. Please do not use this address for technical support.
3. Activating Using Offline Activation Response File
Upload the response xml file received by email in the previous step. Once the file is uploaded, the OK button becomes active and the activation can be completed.
Press OK to complete all steps.
