Customizing the Interface

 

One of the most attractive Advance Design RC Wall module features is the amount of control available to you over the user interface (UI). The interface components are extremely versatile. Within a few clicks, they can be easily displayed, hidden, shaded, moved, downloaded or printed in the Advance Design RC Wall module environment helping you improve your workflow and adjust the working environment to your needs.

 

 

Ribbon

 

Advance Design RC Wall module allows you also to collapse the ribbon if you need to see more of the project you are creating. To collapse the ribbon, just click the display option button in the high-right corner.

Viewports

 

The standalone interface for Advance Design RC Wall module has three viewports that can be resized easily. When you are creating a project, it is helpful to see how it looks on different-sized screens. You can change the size of a viewport by dragging its borders:

The viewport is displayed with the new size, and it becomes the current viewport. Also, if you double-click anywhere inside a viewport it will be enlarged.

Display modes for Advance Design RC Wall module

 

In the lower-right corner, each viewport has a set of buttons for selecting the desired display mode:

 

 

 

 

On the left side of viewports - 2D Top view

 

1.The View mode command displays the view mode options of the model Top view or Elevation (front view).

2.The Print button prints the image from the current viewport.

3.The Save As button saves the image from the current viewport to a selected location.

4.The Show this viewport only button activates the single (current) viewport display mode.

5.The Set display mode to wireframe command displays the linear contour of the elements.

6.The Set display mode to shaded command displays the elements with shaded faces.

7.The Show/Hide horizontal editable dimensions button displays/hides dimensions on the model (horizontal).

8.The Zoom fit button displays the maximum extents of all objects.

9.The Show/Hide loads command displays/hides the loads on the model.

10.The Show/Hide rebar annotations command displays/hides the rebar annotations on the model.

11.The Hide results tab hides the tab panel from the bottom of the viewport.

 

 

 

 

 

On the top-right side of viewports - 3D view

 

1.The Hide interactive editor section tool command hides the section box on the model.

2.The Print button prints the image from the current viewport.

3.The Save As button saves the image from the current viewport to a selected location.

4.The Show this viewport only button activates the single (current) viewport display mode.

5.The Set display mode to wireframe command displays the linear contour of the elements.

6.The Set display mode to shaded command displays the elements with shaded faces.

7.The Show/Hide horizontal editable dimensions button displays/hides dimensions on the model (horizontal).

Note: The Section abscissa (A) can be changed either numerically here or by interactively dragging the section editor tool in the 3D viewport.

 

 

 

Dimension Display Settings for Advance Design RC Wall module

 

 

In Dimension Display Settings dialog, users can customize the display of dimensions in the viewports.

The Display settings dialog box is used for selecting the color to be displayed in viewports for different object categories.

Visibility Settings for Advance Design RC Wall module

 

The Visibility Settings command, located in Options panel from Settings tab, opens a dialog box where users can set the visibility (visible or hidden) for certain objects categories. Turning off the visibility of the selected graphic or category makes it invisible in the model, being useful when wanting to work in an unobstructed model.
