Using
**Interaction curves**, that
allow engineers to visually check stresses in an interactive, real-time
way. When launched, the Interaction
Curves command displays the
interaction curves-graphical representation for the column capacity under
the applied global resultant forces.

Three viewports are available for the interaction curves:

- 3D curve N-Mx-My graphics representation

- N-M graphics representation

- Mx-My graphics representation.

For example, the combined bending verification of columns with interaction curves allows you to quickly identify the columns having the force component outside the interaction area, considering the column's reinforcement.

Click on the bottom buttons to display the diagrams at ULS, SLS, AULS, or extremity values.

The example below illustrates the verification of a reinforced concrete pillar using interaction curves. A simple column, 4 m high, with a section of 80x80 cm, will be subjected to bending and compression due to axial forces.

After calculation, the software generates the resulting interaction curve for the required reinforcement area. The corresponding values for each resistant torsor are displayed on the interaction curves page.
