The graphic area of Advance Design Beam module is divided into three simultaneous viewports allowing the user to view the model from different angles and perspectives, in one or more windows at a time.
Each viewport displayed on the screen contains the View cube, the coordinate system symbol and a set of buttons for changing the display mode.

Viewports details
Double-clicking on a model element in a viewport brings up the element's geometry dialog, while double-clicking in the viewport anywhere else outside the model toggles between the Show all viewports / Show this viewport only display modes.

Coordinate system symbol
The main function of the coordinate system symbol in Advance Design Beam module is to provide information about the model position in the global coordinate system. Its axes correspond to the global coordinate system axes; each one has a different color: red for X, green for Y and blue for Z.

The coordinate system symbol changes its position at the same time as the view rotation. When you rotate the view, the coordinate system symbol changes its orientation, providing information about the model position.
View cube
The View cube in the upper right corner of the model viewport is a 3D navigation control, which indicates the current view direction. You can drag or click its corners/faces or the compass to obtain the desired view.
The tool is a clickable and draggable interface that you use to switch between standard and isometric views of your model and provides visual feedback about the current viewpoint of the
model as view changes occur. When the cursor is positioned over the View Cube tool, it becomes active.
You can drag or click the View Cube, switch to one of the available preset views, rotate the current view, or change to the Home view of the model.

The rotation of the current view
The compass is displayed below the View Cube and indicates which direction is defined for the model. You can click a cardinal direction letter on the compass to rotate the model, or you can click and drag the compass ring to interactively rotate the model around the pivot point.
Zooming in the Current View
To zoom in/out, use the mouse scroll wheel (scroll up to zoom in, scroll down to zoom out).
