Splices Properties
Splices connect two colinear beams having the same cross section.
The elements that allow splices must match the following criteria:

I or H cross section.

General

Family: displays the family of the connection.

Identifier: view / modify the ID number of the element.

Name: view / modify the default name of the element.

Systems: view the ID of the system in which the element is located.

Comment: insert observations regarding the element.

GTC Identifier: view the identifier automatically assigned to the element after the GTC export / import.

Design Module Template: selection of the template used by Design Module. List of available templates depends on type of element. The number of available default templates depends on your location (country).

Connection Group: allows to specify a connection group to the connection. The connection groups allow the creation and management of all the connection groups of the model.

Identifier: id number of the connected first element.

Cross section: connected first element cross section type.

Material: material of the connected first element.
-
System: system to which the connected first element belongs.

Identifier: id number of the connected second element.

Cross section: connected second element cross section type.

Material: material of the connected second element.
-
System: system to which the connected second element belongs.

Results

Design Module Result: displays the status of the results obtained after having calculated the connection using the Steel Connection module.

Work ratio: after having exported and calculated the connection in the Module, Advance Design displays in this field the calculated working ratio.

Number of errors: displays the number of errors, after the connection calculation.
