The reinforced concrete design settings are applied in the analysis step, during the reinforced concrete calculation. The design settings can be modified in the modeling step and in the analysis step as well. After defining the settings during the analysis step, it is necessary to calculate the model again.
The design settings may be defined at two levels:
Global settings, via the Calculation settings dialog box, concerning the calculation methods of reinforced concrete, the columns verification, reinforcement and buckling parameters, etc.
Local settings, via the properties window of concerned linear elements or planar elements, referring to concrete design attributes as the concrete cover, the cracking criteria, the concrete quality, etc.
