Advance Design understands the importance of a workspace that aligns with your personal preferences and workflow needs. That's why it provides extensive customization options for the Project Browser, allowing you to modify its position, size, and overall appearance.
Discover below the steps and options available for personalizing the Project Browser in Advance Design:
The Project Browser window can be resized by simply dragging any one of its edges or corners (using a horizontal/vertical split of the cursor).

Resizing the Project Browser
The Project Browser is docked by default on the left of the graphic area. However, changing its docking location can be easily achieved by following these steps:

You can hide/display the Project Browser following the methods described below:
Menu button : Display > Components or Ribbon: Manage tab > Components panel: (de)select Project Browser.

The grey edge of the graphic area: right-click to access the context menu and (de)select Project Browser.

The Project Browser can be also hidden by simply clicking the <Close> button (the X) at the right of its title bar.

You can undock the Project Browser from its default location to position it anywhere else in the Advance Design environment.
To undock the Project Browser:
You can also undock the Project Browser by simply double-clicking the window title bar. You can then drag it to the desired location.
Having the Project Browser docked or floating is also possible by right-clicking on its title bar and selecting the desired position (either <Floating> or <Docking>).
Right-clicking on the Project Browser title bar also allows you to access an extended list of display commands to hide or auto-hide this main interface component:

The Project Browser background can be customized: it is possible to remove the background image and select a customized background color. You have two options for customizing the appearance:
Menu: select Options > Application > in the Options - Application dialog box select the Project Browser tab.
Project Browser: right-click the Project Browser outside the contents area and select Configuration for direct access to the Project Browser tab.

Configuring the Project Browser display options
Using the Project Browser configuration options, it is possible to filter the information displayed: hide or display the system ID, the objects number, the icons and the connections group number.

System ID - numbers automatically assigned, in the Project Browser, to systems at the system creation (in chronological order);
Objects number - numbers automatically assigned to the elements of the model;
Icons - icons displayed in the Project Browser for each element type (system, linear element, planar element, support, connection, etc.);
Connection group number - connection group number to which the connection belongs.
In the Document mode, you can customize the way content is displayed by accessing the Project Browser context menu and selecting Display:

To view the files as large icons, click Large icons.
To view the files as small icons, click Small icons.
To view the files in a list, click List.
To view information about the files, such as the file size, type and modification date, click Details.
When in Document mode, files can also be sorted by name, type, size or date using the context menu and selecting Rearrange icons:
