Before creating loads or imposed displacements it is necessary to specify the corresponding load case. Loads and imposed displacements are created in the current load case.
To define a load case as current:
select it in the Project Browser.
select it from the load case drop-down list on the Modeling toolbar.

Specifying the current load case
The loads / imposed displacements are placed in the selected load case (or in the most recently used load case).
Tip
The current load case is always displayed in the Modeling toolbar, the load cases drop-down list:
![]()
It is possible to change the loads location:
Using drag-and-drop within the Project Browser to move them to the corresponding load case.
Using the context menu commands (i.e., Cut and Paste) within the Project Browser to place them in the corresponding load case.
Specifying the load case in the properties window: after creating the load / imposed displacement, access its properties window and input the ID of the corresponding load case in the Load case field.
