The grid tool in the Advance Design workspace simplifies the process of modeling structure elements.
Select a grid and access the properties window. The following attributes are viewed / defined:

Grid Properties window
Identifier: View / modify the ID number of the element.
Name: View / modify the default name of the element.
Systems: View the ID of the system in which the element is located.
Comment: Insert observations regarding the element.
GTC Identifier: View the identifier automatically assigned to the element after the GTC export / import.
Grid options: Display only the X axis, only the Y axis or both by selecting the corresponding option from the drop-down list.
Definition: define the number of grid blocks and their length by entering the corresponding values separated by spaces (e.g., 3*3.00 2*5.00 2*6.00 means three blocks of 3 meters, 2 blocks of 5 meters and 3 blocks of 6 meters). Therefore you can add/remove blocks and modify their length by entering the desired values in this field for each axis.

X (Y) Options
Note
The block length is defined in the current unit for lengths.
Grid offset: enter a value to define the grid offset.

Grid offset
Text position: define the presence of text on the grid sides using the drop-down list options.
Text type: from the corresponding drop-down list, select the text type for each axis (x or y): letters, numbers or none.
Text prefix: define the prefix to the automatic names of grids.
Text definition: definition of user names for grids.
Text offset: define the text position relative to the grid by entering the desired distance in the current unit for lengths.

Tip: The grid font size is configured in the Display settings dialog box. Use the Textsize slider to set the size of text displayed in the drawing area.
