The generalized buckling analysis is used for the study of amplified loads that lead to an elastic instability corresponding to the Eulerian buckling. Buckling analysis is possible for structures composed of planar and linear elements (except for cable elements).
Several buckling analysis cases can be defined. Each buckling case refers to a static load case or to a combination of static load cases.
The general buckling analysis parameters are defined in the properties window of the Generalized buckling load case.
Use these methods to access the command:
From the Project Browser: right-click Settings and select Generalized buckling from the context menu.
The Select the analyses dialog box appears. Allows selecting loads and creating multiple cases at once by clicking All, None or selecting them manually.

A generalized buckling analysis family is created in the Project Browser, under Settings, along with a buckling case.

Select the analysis to assign in the buckling analysis
In the Project Browser, right-click the generalized buckling analysis (i.e., family or case) and select Delete from the context menu.
In the Project Browser, click the generalized buckling analysis (i.e., family or case) and press <Delete>.
The selected analysis is deleted. When deleting the generalized buckling family, all the corresponding load cases are deleted.
