How to create projected dimension lines
The projected dimension line measures the horizontal and vertical projection of an element.
In the Project Browser, select a system in which to place the element (if you have not created the system tree, this can be done after you have drawn the model elements).
In the properties window, select projected for the dimension line type.
Click the first extremity of the element corresponding to the first point of the measured area.

Move the mouse cursor to define the projection (upward for a horizontal projection, left-right for a vertical projection).

Position the cursor on the desired distance and click to set the dimension line elevation.
The dimension line is created.

After you have drawn the element, press the <Esc> key or right click and from the context menu select Finish to quit the drawing function.
You can select a dimension line and modify it using the options available in the properties window.
How to create horizontal / vertical dimension lines
Dimensions can be displayed only on horizontal or only on vertical lengths using the corresponding types of dimension lines.
In the Project Browser, select a system in which to place the element (if you have not created the system tree, this can be done after you have drawn the model elements).
In the properties window, select the desired type of dimension line (i.e., horizontal or vertical).
Click the first point.
Click to define the second point of the measured length.
Move the mouse cursor to define the dimension line elevation:
- upward for a horizontal projection - - left-right for a vertical projection -
Click to finish.
The dimension line is created.

How to create aligned dimension lines
The aligned dimension line measures the distance between two points relative to the length of the element.
In the Project Browser, select a system in which to place the element (if you have not created the system tree, this can be done after you have drawn the model elements).
In the properties window, select aligned for the dimension line type.
Click the first extremity corresponding to the first point of the measured element.
Click the second extremity.
Move the mouse cursor and click to set the dimension line elevation.
The dimension line is created.

How to create angular dimension lines
The angular dimension line measures the angle formed by three specified points in the drawing area.
In the Project Browser, select a system in which to place the element (if you have not created the system tree, this can be done after you have drawn the model elements).
In the properties window, select angular for the dimension line type.
Click the first point forming the desired angle (i.e., extremity of an element).
Click the second point representing the angle vertex.
Click the third point to finish.
The dimension line is created.

How to create level dimension lines
The level dimension line specifies the Z axis coordinates of the selected point in the drawing area.
In the Project Browser, select a system in which to place the element (if you have not created the system tree, this can be done after you have drawn the model elements).
In the properties window, select level for the dimension line type.
In the drawing area, click the point for which to measure the altitude.
The dimension line is created.
