Compact Advance Design Projects
Advance Design provides a specialized command that can reduce the size of the project up to ten times and increase the model manipulation speed. This command is useful especially for large models as it creates a file of a smaller size.
How to compact your project
To compact a project, follow these steps:

Close the current Advance Design project.

From the Menu, select File > Compact.

In the Compact file dialog box, select the Advance Design project for which you want to reduce the size.
Choose a project to compact
- Click Open.
A message box informs you when the compact operation is complete. The old project file, which stores all the project data (placed in the data folder of the Advance Design project), is saved with a new name (that includes the date and time of the backup).
