After calculation, the Analysis - Post-processing step is active, allowing you to view the results using various tools and commands. The main post-processing tools are accessible from the Ribbon, Results tab, which is activated in this phase.
During the post-processing phase you can display several types of results (displacements, forces, stresses, eigen modes, resultant forces, hinge status) obtained with the finite element calculation.
The results refer only to the selected analysis cases.
The results are given in the current working units.
You can display the results on the whole structure or only on the selected elements.
You can view results expressed in global, local or user-defined coordinate system.
You can view the results in the graphic area using various visualization modes (i.e., deformed shape, colors, values, diagrams, etc.).
You can view the results in post-processed model animation.
You can obtain diagrams containing the results on the selected elements (i.e., result curves, cross section stresses).
