In Advance Design, the Count command provides access to information about:
the number of all elements from the model by type (the number of linear elements, planar elements, etc.)
the amount of available memory.
The information contained in the Count dialog box is very useful for optimizing the processing speed during the analysis step.
Before launching the calculation of a large model, use the Count command to obtain information about the number of elements in the model and the memory size. For more resources for the calculation, access the Options - Application dialog box and make the necessary settings on the Memory and Results tabs.
Menu: select Tools > Count.
Ribbon > Manage tab > Settings panel > Count.

The Count dialog box, which appears after accessing the command, displays a table containing 3 columns:
Name: displays the name of all element types from the model.
Selection: displays the number of selected elements.
Total: displays the total number of elements from the model according to type.
