Tables with results for FEM calculation

In Advance Design, users can filter and check FEM calculation results even faster. The Result tables functionality allows the users to quickly display the results in a tabular format directly on the screen.

How to access the command

Advance Design - Result tables

Group of options for results tables on the ribbon

These tables will be available for FEM results. We have the possibility to generate a table with results for Node (Displacement), Linear elements (Displacement, Forces, Stresses), Planar elements (Displacement, Forces, Moments, Stresses, Resultant Forces), Point supports (Displacement, Forces), Linear supports (Displacement, Forces), Area supports (Displacement, Forces, Stresses):

The basic workflow

  1. Select element type.
  2. Use the second list for choosing a table for the selected category.
  3. To generate the table, press the Generate button.
  4. For additional settings, use the Results table settings dialog.
  5. To manage load cases and combinations, use Results table load cases.
  6. To delete user tables, use the Delete button.

After generating the table, other options are valid, such as:

1. Adding/ removing column:
Using the Hide/ Show button, certain generated columns can be hidden and displayed according to the required data. For example, if we want to hide the ‘Load case’ and ‘Mesh’ columns uncheck both columns:

2. Export the generated table in Excel

Also, export can be stopped by using the Cancel Export button.

3. Sort information into columns

It is valid by double-clicking on the column header. Each time it will change the sorting from min->max->min->…
