Report Templates

 

For an easier generation of reports, Advance Design provides a set of report templates, with a predefined configuration of tables and data.

At the same time, you have the possibility to create your own report templates, using the report generator's commands.

The available templates correspond to significant data and tables concerning each step of the project: settings report, standard report, bill of quantities report, loads distribution report, synthetic report of envelopes.

 

How to create a report from templates

  1. From the Main menu: select Documents > Settings Report. Alternatively, access the Documents tab on the Ribbon and select Settings Report from the Report Templates panel.

  2. The Report generator dialog box appears, containing the settings report items:

  1. Press the Generate button.

 During generation, the left panel displays the process status. When the generation process is completed, the viewer application starts and opens automatically the report.

By following step 1 above you can create the other types of reports available in Advance Design as report templates:

How to save a report template

  1. Access the command as described above.

  1. Define the report's content, adding the desired items from the right panel of the window and configuring their parameters and position in the document's structure.

  2. Press the Save button.

  1. The Save as dialog box appears, allowing your to choose the path and name for the new report template. Click Save to create the template as an XML file.
