Advance Concrete 2010
On September 15th 2009, GRAITEC launched Advance Concrete 2010, a 3D structural modeling platform for automating concrete detailing and fabrication.
Aimed at concrete construction and design offices, Advance Concrete 2010 is an AutoCAD® based application that enables the modeling (2D / 3D) of concrete structures and the automatic creation of formwork / reinforcement drawings and bill of materials.

Advance Concrete 2010 dramatically increases general detailing and fabrication productivity. Its new features allow users to improve the efficiency of the reinforcement design process and to reduce costs. Some of the new features in Advance Concrete 2010 are described below:
AutoCAD® 2010 compliancy
Advance Concrete 2010 is compliant with AutoCAD® 2010. Also, the compliancy with Autodesk Revit Structure has been improved:
- Slab openings and curved slabs are imported with their exact shape.
- Ramps are taken into account.
- Arc walls, sloped walls, and foundation piles can be imported .
Performance improvements
Advance Concrete 2010 allows a faster creation of views. The calculation time for elevations, sections and isometric views was reduced by a factor of 4 to 6. The following is a comparison between Advance Concrete 2009 and Advance Concrete 2010 regarding calculation time:

DYNamic reinforcement: New ergonomics
The Dynamic Reinforcement is a unique system that allows for the easy placement of the reinforcement cage in the model.
With the latest features, the user selects the solution and specifies the parameters, then the target elements at each location where it can be applied. The software finds a place to apply the reinforcement cage or displays an error.
Bar mark behavior
New options in the project preferences make it possible to select the bar mark behavior when creating new objects using "Copy", "Mirror" or Advance Concrete creation tools.
- A new bar mark is assigned to each new identical entity.
- Identical entities receive the same bar mark.
L shaped symbol arrows
A new representation for bar symbol arrows is available to make the drawing easier to read.
Bending details improvement
A new parameter allows the user to define the distance between the bar and the dimension lines on the bending details to get the perfect representation.

- Instant activation of user licenses.
- Borrow a license from a network license server.
- Easily move the license from one computer to another.
- Windows compatibility: Windows Vista, Windows XP Pro, Windows 2000 Pro and Windows 7
- AutoCAD® compatibility: AutoCAD® 2007, 2008, 2009 32 and 64 bits, 2010 32 and 64 bits
- Available in German, English, French, Dutch, Czech, Polish, Romanian

- Advance Concrete is delivered on DVD.
Installation
To successfully install Advance Concrete certain requirements must be met:
- PC with Pentium Processor min. 2 GHz (4 GHz recommended)
- Main memory min. 2 GB
- AutoCAD® compatible graphics card (for more information, see http://www.autodesk.com/autocad-graphicscard)
- Network adapter
- DVD Drive
- Windows compatible printer or plotter
- Required disk space: approx. 500 MB
