1. Before you start: Read the documentation!
All programs have detailed documentation including the following elements:
Installation guide 
Extra to the installation process itself, this guide is also explaining in details everything dealing with licensing.
Starting guide
Before starting using the software, read the Starting Guide to get familiar with key concepts. It includes also include a short tutorial.
Online help
The online help explains all available dialog boxes and commands and allows searching by key words, methods etc.

2. Software installation
Before installing GRAITEC Advance:
- Verify the software and hardware compatibility.
- Make sure that you have administrator rights for:
1. Windows system files
2. The hard disk drive for the installation
3. The registry settings
- Deactivate the Antivirus during installation
- Close all active applications.
3. Installing the GRAITEC Advantage updates
GRAITEC Advantage provides the latest software updates. After the standard installation from the DVD, we highly recommend that you download and install the available updates. Go to the Update category for further instructions! We also suggest a regular check for new available updates.
