When we add manual labels on detail drawings in Advance Steel, we have the option to configure their content and from which category they are selected.

In order to control the label content definition, we have two defaults : "Additional label considering the function" and "Additional label considering the type". They are in the Management Tools, in the "Defaults" section.

There are three cases that these defaults control:

• A) All the elements take the label from the section : Any. This ignores the model object type (e.g., Plate). Both "Additional label considering the function" and "Additional label considering the type" must be set to 0.



• B) The model object type is taken into consideration, but the label will be given from the Any category for the different model object types, ignoring if the element is a Single Part or Main Part. "Additional label considering the type" is set to 1, and "Additional label considering the function" is set to 0.



• C) The label is set from the model object type category, and it will take into consideration if it is a Single part of a Main part. Both "Additional label considering the function" and "Additional label considering the type" must be set to 1.
