Answer

If you open and save an AutoCAD DWG file with Advance Steel, you might want to remove the Advance Steel objects that were saved with this DWG file.

To remove the Advance Steel objects, perform the following steps:

Open Advance Steel.
Click the "Delete all AS objects from external dwg" ("AstM4RemoveHyperSteel") icon, which is the first icon on the "Additional tools" toolbar, and choose the DWG file.

Close Advance Steel.
Open AutoCAD (alone).
On the command line, set "demandload" to O.
Open the drawing.
Save it.
Set "demandload" back to its original value (e.g. 3).

Your drawing will no longer contain Advance Steel objects and can be opened in "pure" AutoCAD.
