Answer

Start the BOM Editor.

Note the key number of the customized list you want to use and in what branch (User Template branch or Project Template branch) it is in.

Close the BOM Editor.

Enter "CUI" on the command line to open the ACAD "Customize User Interface" to change the toolbar icon.

In the "Customize User Interface" dialog box, go to "Partial CUI files", "ASTCHECK", "Toolbars", "Sub - BOM" and select, for example, "Beam list" (if this is the list you want to replace with your customized list).

Replace the Command Macro name (on the right side) with the new one.
Example: ^C^C_Astm4CommBomNew 22006 1
(In this case: key = 22006 and branch = 1 (for User Template branch)).

Then click " Apply " and " OK ".

On the Advance Steel "Sub - BOM" toolbar, click the icon for the new key number. The created list is according to the customized template:
