Project description:
To meet the growing demand for houses made of steel, Ets BOUCHET (France) has specialized in the design, fabrication and erection of this type of construction thanks to Advance Steel which they are using daily in their integrated detailing office.
All the cladding and flashing elements for the roof and walls were also created within the Advance Steel 3D model, which was the perfect tool for the design of folded elements of all types (omegas, user-defined sandwich panels) and for automatically generating all associated workshop drawings (with the part display unfolded and dimensioned).

Thierry Depollier, manager of the detailing office in Ets BOUCHET said: "Working in 3D with Advance Steel facilitates the conception in our engineering office, and getting drawings and NC files from the precise 3D model allows for the avoidance of errors at the workshop while having the possibility to use the nesting tool from the CNC machine to reduce lost material thanks to the efficient interoperability between Advance Steel and the plasma machine at workshop."
