Project description:
The model of the existing steel structure was designed for the reconstruction of the Prunerov II power plant. Noving s.r.o used a satellite geodetic measurement technique to obtain the power plant coordinates. Thirty one thousand (31 000) elements of the constructed steel structure were measured using this method. Mr. Novotny developed a unique method to export the geodetic coordinates to Advance Steel. Based on the data, the 3D model of the constructed power plant was accurately obtained.
The model and the 2D drawings obtained with Advance Steel were successfully used by structural engineers for the reconstruction of the power plant structure.
