The cable-stayed bridge Niederwartha was constructed by the Plauen Stahl Technologie GmbH. The bridge will have a total length of 336 meters and a main span of 192 meters. The construction includes 1232 tons of steel. The Pylon is accessible and has a height of 77 meters.
The bridge was created in a 3D model to define the amount of steel. For the exact definition and creation of the single steel components, welding preparation and folded plates were created in the model. Afterwards, workshop drawings were created for the assembly of single components.
