GRAITEC Group reports excellent revenue growth (+85%) for 2007

Paris, March 18th, 2008 - GRAITEC, an international developer of 3D modeling, structural design and automatic drawing creation software for construction professionals, reports above target revenues of 22,1 million euros for the fiscal year ended December 31st, 2007. The turnover has increased by + 85% compared to 2006 results.

Good operational progress in 2007
GRAITEC performed well against its 2007 plans:
Turnover reached 22,1 M€ and greatly exceeded the target. The significant increase in turnover is part of GRAITEC’s rapid growth strategy and it was reached through organic growth and company acquisitions.
The consolidated EBIT increased + 89% compared to 2006.
The EBIT margin increased in all GRAITEC software activities: CAD, CAE and engineering services.
All companies of the Group were profitable in 2007.

Acquisition of 2 companies in 2007: international growth
ADRIS Ltd., one of the most respected Autodesk resellers in the UK supplying design software and networks, was acquired in May 2007. Through this acquisition, GRAITEC intends to boost sales of its GRAITEC Advance solutions in one of the biggest AEC markets in Europe. ADRIS Ltd. sells Autodesk products, with full customer service, primarily to the Architectural, Construction Engineering and Mechanical industry markets. With over 24 years experience, ADRIS Ltd. has in depth knowledge to develop tailored solutions and then supply, install, support and provide training to help its customers get the maximum results from their new design systems.
CivilDesign Inc., a leading structural design solution provider in Canada was acquired in June 2007. GRAITEC has integrated CivilDesign’s innovative structural analysis solution into its own high-end detailing tools, which are already successfully sold in the Americas by its offices located in Montreal and Dallas. Through this acquisition, GRAITEC is able to offer its customers and prospects a complete and fully localized software suite for the North-American Construction industry. Established in 1994, CivilDesign Inc. has specialized in the development of structural and civil engineering applications. VisualDesignTM is the company’s most advanced solution dedicated to structural analysis and design for the construction and civil engineering industry in Canada. The suite is composed of 12 modules and covers 2D/3D modeling and analysis of a large variety of structures, from bridges and culverts to buildings and towers. All modules integrate the latest Canadian and American standards.

Excellent revenue growth in all countries
GRAITEC France has performed with steady growth of 13% on the historical market of the company and still accounts for one fourth of the Group’s results. GRAITEC France has achieved its goal by successfully launching Advance Design on its market in 2007.
GRAITEC Czech Republic has achieved 11% growth in its turnover compared to 2006. AB Studio also began to work on the Hungarian market with Advance Steel.
GRAITEC Germany has delivered a 28% growth in turnover and did particularly well for Advance Concrete which registered an increase of 56% in 2007. With a growth of 17%, Advance Steel remains number one in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
ADRIS Ltd., which joined the GRAITEC Group in May, has performed with a turnover growth of 45% compared to 2006.
Although dedicated to R&D, GRAITEC Romania, which started developing sales activities in 2006, has increased its turnover by 30% in 2007.
GRAITEC Americas has continued its striking growth with a global +39% of their turnover. The merger of CivilDesign Inc., acquired in June 2007, allows a growth of 31% on the American and Canadian market compared to 2006.
Indirect sales revenues have grown by 34%. New markets have been opened with the signing of new partnerships in Asia (Philippines, Korea, Singapore) and Middle East (UAE). Eastern Europe (Baltic States, Poland and Russia) achieved an astonishing increase of 142%.

Actually, we aim to reach a minimum turnover of 27 M€ revenue and increase our R&D investments by 40% compared to 2007. We also are improving brand awareness by increasing our Marketing and Communications actions, and by changing the Corporate and Products Identities"
