GRAITEC Announces the compliance of Advance Steel suite with AutoCAD 2007
GRAITEC announces support for AutoCAD 2007 next-generation design software from Autodesk Inc., the world's leading software and services company for building, manufacturing, infrastructure, media and entertainment, and wireless data services.
Support for AutoCAD 2007 will allow customers to get the most out of their design data, allowing them to be more productive and realize their ideas faster. For instance, features like the Dashboard will help them quickly design complex 3D elements and the new section and flatten tools will improve detailing.
GRAITEC users switched from 2D to 3D a few years ago and they are at a point where they need to maximize the benefits of 3D. With AutoCAD 2007’s advanced navigation features, GRAITEC customers will be able to easily walk through their buildings. This will allow them to check their models in a first step and improve communication with their own customers to better sell their ideas.
"By integrating with the latest features in AutoCAD 2007, GRAITEC enables our joint customers to take advantage of the latest design software technology," said John Sanders, vice president of the Platform Technology Division at Autodesk. "We are pleased to have the strong support of GRAITEC products for AutoCAD 2007.”
“We are really very pleased to see how, version after version, the AutoCAD platform has improved. For a vertical developer like GRAITEC, it’s great because we can focus our Research and Development efforts on our core business. Then customers benefit from a very specialized application based on the highest standard of the CAD industry”, said Manuel LIEDOT, product marketing and research & development manager at GRAITEC.
