How are the post-processing views used?
Question:How are the post-processing views used?
After defining the model, the user must create the structure model views.
The views are created using the "Save view" option on the "Modeling" toolbar. The structure is rotated in order to obtain the views from the desired angles (front view, back view, top/bottom views and isometric views of the structure). The views are automatically created in the "Pilot".
The views are accessed by double-clicking a view item in the "Pilot". The structure will be automatically rotated in the position in which the view was created. The views can be replaced, renamed, erased, locked, unlocked or updated.
For example, to rename a view select it and right click, and then select the "Rename" option from the context menu.
If the structure is modified, the views can be updated. Select the views and use the "Update" option from the context menu. After the structure is modified, the view in the "Pilot" becomes red. You can easily see that the views must be updated for the modified structure. After the views are update the pilot items become green.
After the structure is analyzed, you can save the post-processing views with the results. From the "Analysis-E.F.Results" toolbar use the "Save view" option.
The saved results views will appear in the "Pilot" in the "Post-processing" category .
The views saved in the Analysis mode can be replaced, locked, unlocked, erased, renamed, displayed or updated. For example, for the "1.Deplacement D 140" post-processing view, the "Shaded faces" rendering mode can be replaced with a representation by axes.
The "1.Deplacement D 140" view must be selected, and on the "Rendering" toolbar, the "Axes" mode must be selected. Next, right click, and select the "Replace" option. You can replace all the saved views.
If the "Lock" option is used, you will not be able to replace, display or update the saved views. When a saved view is locked, the pilot item is gray. To be able to display, update or replace the views you must use the "Unlock" option.
In the "Post-processing" category, you can create groups using the "Create a group" option. For example, you can create a group for the post-processing views.
Select views 2 and 3 and then use the "Cut" option. Next, select the "Forces" group and then select the "Paste" option from the context menu. The views can be moved from a category to another. This procedure can also be done using the drag-and-drop option.
The saved views can be inserted in the document report.
In the "Document" mode you can view all the saved views from the "Model" or from the "Analyze" mode. Also, in the "Pilot" you can see the path to the directory where the views are saved.
